Virtual Mat Pilates
Without leaving the comfort of your home you can enjoy our Virtual Mat Pilates classes. Mat classes focus on a series of movements incorporating strength, flexibility and mobility. The exercises are progressive and safe, and as a result allow you to work at your own pace with an emphasis on technique. It is suitable for all levels and easily scaled for beginners.
As a result of Mat Pilates classes you will learn to create a deeper connection to you breath and learn how the breath affects how we engage the abdominals and how we move our bodies. You will also learn how to properly engage muscles without relying on using weights to make that connection.
At Raise the Bar SP we practice the Stott Pilates Method. Stott Pilates is world renowned for its high level training and its scientific based approach to Joseph Pilates classical works. We use Stott Pilates certification for all coaches to ensure quality instruction.
For Virtual Mat Pilates you need a mat and yourself but can also use small handweights or therabands if available. This class is 45 minutes long.
