Born and raised in Sherwood Park, I’ve always tried to expand my world by creating new experiences for myself. Whether it is volunteer opportunities to support my community, learning a new skill like XC skiing, English riding or speaking Spanish, or travelling to exciting countries with my husband, I always try to keep an open heart that allows me to grow as a person. My mantra is “Always try to find your happy place.”
Although I didn’t prioritize fitness when I was younger, it became a healthy outlet I embraced in my adulthood during covid – it allowed me to connect with people regardless of their age, circumstances or abilities. With some encouragement from those around me, I decided to embark on a journey to becoming a fitness instructor and I recieved my AFLCA certification in October 2024. Ever since then, I have embraced so many learning opportunities and have found my rhythm as an instructor. My favorite part about supporting people in their fitness journey is to see them overcome obstacles and contribute to a positive community.
